Default Guild hall Additions

I was thinking that it would be cool if anet decided to offer new types of Guild hall npc's. I think a Guild hall hairdresser, Guild hall Decorater....may sound a bit frilly..but could be fun to design your guild hall however way you wanted.

Also a game NPC, he would have carnival style games like the dragon festival rings where the guild can come and start up a carnival in there guild and invite all there alliance pals.

Little things that would be fun to add...just wanted to see if anyone else had some ideas for more Npc's in the guild hall...

How about a headsman? Whenever you kick someone from the guild for bieng an idiot it shows an npc with his name bieng hanged until a member is invited to replace him lol.

lol actually that's cute. Kendar, but alas My guild would prob look like the roads of Rome roughly 300 BC if that was the case. lol IE Crucified Solders along the roads to Rome as an example to rebel uprisings.

In any case. I agree, More services for better customization would be wonderful.

Profession Changer is drastically needed... Put restrictions on it if you wish. requiring ascension or enlightenment, Whatever... but its really needed for things like Elite mission Profession adjustments and such so you don't have to get taxied again when a team is waiting on you.

I would love to see the fireworks vendor like when controlling a town for our guild halls.

Guild Treasurer (Donation tool for members and officers to use that can pool gold for new services or items)

Guild Auction Representative (Part of Auction House concept naturally)

Also A hair dresser or Weaponsmith that can actually CRAFT things not just customize would be nice.

Or a custom Guild Collector... This is a new one. Let me be descriptive.

Its kinda like Guild Armory concept. Except. The leader puts a weapon in the collector inventory and sets an item and quantity for it to collect in order to release it to the person (in the guild or alliance only) wanting it. This allows for some custom goals within the guild.

So lets say we get a IDK Urgoz's Longbow and want to make it a custom collector item in the guild hall.

We give it to the collector and tell the NPC to set the item to 8 corrosive spider legs. whatever... ok so now that collector is offering that item in your guild hall for 8 corrosive spider legs... (attainable from Fissure of Woe of course) Now you have a special unique goal to set your guildies scrambling. lol. Sounds fun no???

All collectible items become available from the merchant NPC when cashed in, till they are out of stock. Or have another NPC if that is too hard to code for that makes collectible items for sell once a certain amount is attained for each in this way. Of course the collectible is also a 1 to 1 ratio. Once its gone. its gone... So if you want to supply many of them you need to put several of them in the collector inventory. maybe make it a required 5 items on each for listing it... that kind of thing.

The skill of the Guild leader or officers that are in control of this Guild hall Collector market is to do 2 things. make sure there are items that people want available at the collector... AND make sure to change the collector items required occasionally to maintain supplies in the Guild NPC to be able to buy them if the members wish for other purposes.

I know I made most of them, and there is more like 14 actually!!! But most of them are old and a good 70% of them are already fulfilled from pre-factions concepts, and I didn't feel like going back and bringing a old thread forward for a new idea I just had while reading this OP thread. Besides I liked his ideas too.

Ingram...the collector one would kill the in-game economy...please think about stuff before suggesting something that you would like because it would benefit you...

As it is I give these things and others out to guidies all the time because they are far too overpriced... This allows for Guilds to manage their own economies and leave the Inflators and Over zellous farmers out of the loop, thus reducing the demand for the overpriced items...

This is how Guilds should be used to benifit thier guild members and Allies. Not for market speculators that do nothing but farm and hoard gold to resell. We distrubute what we farm freely or to the benifit of the guild alliance in adding services. The market for such things are finally coming into balence because the DEMAND is so low now... Most that want some "what you call uber item" can get it rather easily themselves with a good guild party. Or are given it by someone that is long bored with farming them. IN all reality most dont need anythign better then a normal crafter item from Armory or Pits. 90% of the time I would imagine these kind of weapons making an appearance in such a NPC.

I mean its only the vain Picky people that THINK they have to have a particular skin to be good when in fact they are no better then a basic gold or crafted or collector item. its just a skin. Whoppty freaking doo. If you want one Its your for the taking rather esily if you get a decent party. so Why not dump them. I gave the last 2 I had out to guildies that were begging for them. I certainly didn't need em. I know they prob went off and sold them behind my back cause most players are only interested in gold... but whatever. The ideals I see in the game are not popular, but they happen to be fact. Those overpriced items are certainly not needed to be a good player, ney no goodie is all that great beyond collector items, and those are free. lol whatever blows your skirt up there ...

Sorry Xio. I said I will not belittle the market anymore and I just did. I just hate selling crap. I dispise the trade button so much I actually deleted it from my interface. Maybe the Auction house will change that but I doubt it. I either use what I find or give it away (ie dropping it in instance) or sell it to the NPCs.. I hate the WTS WTB market crap so I tend to be rather biased towards it... I will try to curb that instinct.

To be more constructive on your post. I don't think it would effect YOUR economy in any way as its specific to a guild alliance not for everyone... so I doubt it would effect anyone outside of a particular guild or alliance. Except that it will further reduce DEMAND in that market from THAT alliance...
